Khalil Brown

Founder and CEO

Khalil Brown is a Caribbean-American professional basketball player, international coach, and the visionary founder of Pro. Dev. Unlimited. His journey from a late-blooming athlete to a global professional is a story of relentless drive, discipline, and transformation.

Khalil began playing organized basketball during the summer before his senior year of high school, at the age of 16. Within just a few months, his unmatched work ethic, athleticism, and competitive drive earned him national recognition as one of the Top 100 players in the country, along with dozens of Division I scholarship offers.

He developed under legendary grassroots coaches such as Sandy Pyonin (NJ Roadrunners) and Rafer Alston (NYC Panthers), and competed for elite programs including the Nashville Celtics, Arizona Magic, and Rich Soil (Long Island, NY). Along the way, he shared the court with future NBA stars like Kyrie Irving, Tobias Harris, Moe Harkless, and Alex Poythress.

Khalil’s high school career included time at Southern Sports Academy (MS) and Westwind Academy (AZ), then ranked the #7 high school program in the nation. He went on to play Division I basketball at Monmouth University, where he became Head Coach King Rice’s first-ever recruit. Academically, Khalil graduated magna cum laude with concentrations in Business Finance, Public Relations, and Business Communication, and later earned a Master’s degree, with distinction, in Media and Visual Arts from Pace University.

Professionally, Khalil trained privately with the South Bay Lakers (NBA G League) and went on to compete internationally across 12 countries spanning four continents, including Vietnam, Bahrain, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Turkey.

After a career-altering injury, Khalil transitioned his passion and global experience into mentorship and development. He founded Provenance Unlimited, a player development platform designed to build smarter, stronger, and more confident athletes. His programs cater to youth players, high school prospects, and professional athletes, providing training that emphasizes basketball IQ, elite skill development, and mental toughness.

Just as importantly, Khalil is deeply committed to working with players of all ages and skill levels who share his passion for basketball and want to grow. Whether you’re aiming for a scholarship or just want to get better and enjoy the journey, Khalil believes everyone deserves high-level coaching, motivation, and mentorship.

His mission is “to help athletes reach their full potential and create life-changing opportunities through basketball and education — no matter where they’re starting from."
